American politician, Bill Johnson, is now a sperm donor in New Zealand.

Guidelines issued by the fertility medicine community recommend that donations should be made in the regulated environment of a fertility clinic. Also to prevent accidental incest and lessen the stress donors and children face if they meet, fertility medicine practitioners are against the idea of donors making sperm available to more than four families.
Mr. Johnson was not planning to tell his wife in US about his sperm donations until the children were born.
He has also expressed the desire to be involved with the children's lives.
