Budapest: A highly pathogenic H5 avian flu virus has caused disturbance among Hungary's health authorities, after they discovered its presence in poultry . The farm ministry announced that it is still not sure if the strain belongs to the lethal H5N1.
Following the detection of the virus in a farm in southeast Hungary, habited by nearly 3000 geese, officials have ordered culling of nearly 300,000 birds, identified in the risky zone.Chinese officials have confirmed that things have been under control ever since the first outbreak in February.
