New Legislation to Govern Alternative Medicine Practice has been introduced to check quacks
The Ontario Government of Canada has put new law that makes Alternative medicine practitioners including acupuncture doctors to meet strict legislation to confirm that they have fulfilled all the training requirements and professional expertise with high standards. This new legislation is brought by the Government to check the credibility and standard of these professionals.
Acupuncture works based on the theory of electromagnetic field of the body that influences the growth, maturation and cell division of the body. By activating the acupuncture points in the body the neurotransmitters of the body is activated leading to proper functioning of cells.The Ontario Bill would help in maintaining standards of professionals, which would be set up by the college of Professionals, as the chances of infection spread, tissue damage as well as nerve damage is high if acupuncture is practiced without professional experience and training.
