Health check up to Hajj pilgrims to avoid bird flu

Bird flu threat is high in Saudi Arabia as more than 2.5 million Hajj pilgrims from round the world to gather for Hajj pilgrimage

Saudi Arabia is gearing up to face around 2.5 million Hajj pilgrims and the authorities are making health screening when they enter Saudi Arabia to all the Hajj pilgrims to avoid the spread of bird flu infection. World wide the threat of pandemic bird flu infection is very high and the chances of mutations and spread of the virus is high in mass gathering where people from different parts of the world would be meeting in Hajj.

Saudi Arabia Health minister Dr. Hamad Al-Manei, has urged all the pilgrims planning to visit Hajj to take all precautions measures and take all vaccination programs and check their doctor before arriving to Hajj. The authorities fear that due to such a large gathering there is an increased chance of a pandemic outbreak.
