The regular update from the WHO and Zimbabwe's Health Ministry was dated February 16.Last Thursday, the official death toll stood at 3,525, with 73,585 cases recorded since the outbreak began in August 2008.
The charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said on Tuesday that Zimbabwe's health system was in a state of collapse and resembled that of a country at war.
Most recently the uncontrolled outbreak has been thriving in the southern African country's impoverished, undernourished and neglected rural areas, according to international health workers.
