A sick Twitter hooligan was slammed by legendary footballer Garry Lineker for targeting his cancer-hit son. Ex-England striker Lineker revealed that his eldest son George was sent tweets about his life-threatening leukemia, which had left him "physically sick".
George Lineker had successfully fought off a rare form of leukemia as a baby in the 1990s.
"I'm about to RT (retweet) 3 tweets that were sent to my son that make me feel physically sick. Culprit has deleted his account," The Sun quoted Lineker's tweet, as saying.
The first vile tweet said: "@GeorgeLineker heard ya Leukaemia, pity ya didn't die. XD"
The second read: "Haha your dads a washed up piece of s*** Leukaemia boy."
And the third said: "cheers for the retweet cancer boy! You f***ing gent! XC haha."
