Bedridden hospital patients can now wish away the grave problem of bedsores with an ‘intelligent bed’. Thanks to the novel idea by Swiss entrepreneur Michael Sauter, who developed a bed which can automatically turn the patients’ position.

With periodic automatic change in position of patients on the bed, it is possible to avoid the development of bed sores.
