Woman Spends $15000 on Cosmetic Surgery to Look Good in Selfies

In a sign of the times we live in, a woman has spent a massive $15,000 on plastic surgery in order to look good in selfies. 38-year-old Triana Lavey was not comfortable posing for selfies thank to her "darn chin", according to a report appearing in the Canadian Journal. The story is entirely different after she went under the knife with Lavey professing satisfaction over her selfie-look now.

"Your social media presence is just as important as your real-life presence. It’s a legitimate form of promoting yourself," said Lavey, who is the talent manager for the agency uFluencer Group. “So instead of photoshopping my face before posting it, I Photoshopped it permanently."

Her story and the amount she spent on getting satisfactory looks adds a new twist to the 'selfie' trend that has gripped the Internet.
