Women Overtake Men as the Smarter Sex

It is official. Women have overtaken men as the smarter sex with their IQ scores rising above those of men for the first time in nearly a century.

These findings were reported by the world-renowned authority on IQ tests, James Flynn, who said that though there has been a difference between the IQ scores among men and women, with women lagging behind men by as much as five points, both of them have increased their IQ scores with that of women increasing at a faster rate.

“The brains of modern people are growing differently and showing increased cognitive complexity which we measure as increases in IQ. This improvement is more marked for women than for men because they were disadvantaged in the past”, Flynn said.
