Results of a new survey reported by the Daily Star suggests that women tend to give their current partners a 7 out of 10 rating under the sheets as they are so satisfied with their expertise and rate them higher than their former boyfriends, even if men rate themselves as a six out of 10. Meanwhile, men gave a five out of ten to their former partner in bed that is lower than their current girlfriend.
But regardless of the rating, men are much more likely to yearn for their former girlfriend with a fifth even thinking about her when in bed with their present partner.
Additionally, one in 20 men have accidentally yelled out their former partner's name during sex.
The research, which was conducted for live chat room site Cam4.com, discovered that barely a fifth of all Brits deem that sex in their present relationship is perfect.
The poll also found that on average, couples had sex three times a month.
