 Workplace Stress Could Hurt Health
While stress at work place is often accepted as a part and parcel of a good job, health experts warn that it could have a far greater implication on your health.
Researchers from Work Foundation suggest that high stress at work place could lead to major health complications such as coronary heart disease, hypertension, depression or anxiety disorders.

According to a survey carried out by Aviva and Work Foundation, more than half of workers in Britain are stressed at work while around 20 percent admitted that they are depressed all the time.

Stephen Bevan, the managing director of the Work Foundation, suggested that companies should include employee assistance programme which will help their employees fight off stress. “It is important that the staff do not bottle it up and find somebody, they can talk to about how they feel and what is at the root of their problem”, he added.
