Five new cholera cases have been reported in Zimbabwe's eastern district of Chipinge, health authorities said on Friday.
"We always have sporadic cases in this area, so there is really nothing to shout or panic about at this stage," Health Minister Henry Madzorera told journalists."We will just have to make sure that we have adequate supplies for these few cases as we go along," said Madzorera.
Last year Zimbabwe experienced its worst cholera outbreak in history, which killed over 4,200 people and sickened nearly 100,000.
The United Nations last month warned that cholera was likely to strike again in the country, saying that less than half the humanitarian aid needed has been raised.
