Acousticophobia
Yes, it is true that people suffer with Acousticophobia. i.e fear of noise. The fear of noise starts with irritation and ends with tears. it goes so high to an extent of that person getting annoyed and shouting at others for not making the noise. they themselves make noise in order to stop the other noises. they don't want to get disturbed by any noise. They are silencophilic in nature. yet, they don't understand the concept that the whole world is filled with noise and sound. its just that whether you want to get disturbed or not. A bus has 100's of people filled with noise and still you will have to travel in the same bus for various reasons. so sometimes tolerating and resisting will not solve the issues. it worsens at cases when u tolerate or resist. You just need to know that things are like this, accept it and move ahead. sometimes accepting things makes life easier. At the same time, i am not guiding, not to stop people from being noisy. just keep SILENT boards wherever required. And leave quote like SILENCE IS GOLDEN. have a great ACOUSTOPHILIC day ahead.

Climacophobia
I have a fear of stairs that do not have backs to them (that you can see through to underneith the stairs, such as those used in most apartments). I also have a large fear of escalators.
