Many stones are typically “silent’. When stones obstruct renal calyces, renal pelvis, or the ureters, symptoms like back pain or renal colic occurs.

Pain-is the most prominent symptom. Most patients complain of fixed, intermittent dull pain in the loins, or region of the kidneys, which is aggravated by movement and better by rest. Severe colic occurs if the stone gets lodged in the ureter. Pain may increase steadily and peaks in a few minutes radiating into the flanks, testis or labium.

Profuse sweating and pallor are associated with pain at times

Nausea and vomiting

Chills and fevers

Blood tinged urine

Recurrent urinary infection.
Many types of renal stones are asymptomatic at times. Generally phosphate stones are asymptomatic.

2 months before same happened with me. After all the checkups [ultrasound, TMT heart checkup, ECG heart checkup, Sugar test, Urine test and Lipid profile test] I got Kidney stone and High Cholesterol no problem in heart. I consult the doctor and even I searched a lot in Internet about the kidney stones and high cholesterol I found that taking supplements like protein or creatine give these kind of side effects. To take these supplements you have to burn a lot of calories by running/jogging/walking or doing exercises also you have to drink lots of water. I am still under treatment to remove the kidney stone and to balance the Cholesterol. I advice every one if you take supplements please consult your physician first or take proper knowledge of that.
I'm 27 years old male. I'm feeling mild pain under my left ribs(side). I can feel it only when I press that area(in stretched/bent position). I noticed this 'extra-pain' only after finishing my wing-back-bicep workout on last Sataurday. I worked out for 2 hours on that day. I thought, it's due to muscle pain so, I stopped working out(as well as supplements) for 1 week but the pain exists there(now, with less intensity). I don't feel any other symptoms.
FYI, I'm following pull-push-leg split style of workout. I'm working out everyother day. I'm sleeping ~7hrs a day. I'm supplementing with Protien(1 serving gives 9gms of Protien + 1.5gms of Creatine Monohydrate). I tried Creatine Monohydrate supplementation 2 weeks ago(5gms or less per day, tried for 1 week then stopped). I'm not under any treatment.
I'm drinking plenty of water throughout the day(during workout too). I'm drinking 3 cups of milk daily and eating 4 eggs per week. I'm following vegan diet(using meat and fish rarely).
Today, I've consulted with General Medicine Doctor. He said nothing to worry about and asked me to continue what I'm doing with but suggested me to reduce the workout duration to 1hr. Also, suggested me to eat more vegetables. He didn't prescibe any medicine.
I would like to know what casued the issue? Is this related to rib area musles/ligament or kidney or something else? Can I start working out and using supplements again? Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
