Moxetumomab pasudotox-tdfk

Moxetumomab pasudotox-tdfk generic Moxetumomab pasudotox-tdfk is prescribed to treat Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL) in adult patients who had treatment failure with at least two treatments or whose cancer returned after chemotherapy. Moxetumomab pasudotox-tdfk has a specific protein linked with a toxin that delivers the toxic substance directly into the cancer cells and kills or stops the cancer growth. Hairy cell leukemia is a slow-growing, and a rare type of cancer in which the bone marrow produces abnormal B cells, a type of white blood cell (WBC) known as lymphocytes resulting in decreased levels of red blood cells, WBC, and platelets. HCL affects people aged between 40 and 60 and is common in men compared to women.

Elotuzumab

Elotuzumab generic Elotuzumab is used to treat multiple myeloma , a type of cancer in the bone marrow in adult patients whose cancer has returned after successful treatment or in patients who showed treatment failure with one to three cancer treating medications. It is a monoclonal antibody that works by binding to the natural killer (NK) cells, a type of white blood cell and enhances the NK cells to identify and kill the myeloma or the cancer cells.

Migalastat

Migalastat generic Migalastat is prescribed to treat Fabry disease in adult patients. Fabry disease is a rare, genetic and an inherited disorder that occurs due to an accumulation or bulid-up of a type of fat known as globotriaosylceramide (GL-3) in the blood vessels, nerves, heart, the kidneys, and other organs. Migalastat is used only after the confirmation of an alpha-galactosidase enzyme deficiency or a permanent gene alteration in the alpha-galactosidase gene A (GLA) located on the X chromosome. Patients with Fabry disease may develop abnormal heart rhythm, enlargement of the heart, progressive kidney disease, stroke and early death. Migalastat works by increasing the activity of the body’s deficient enzyme rather than acting as an enzyme replacement therapy. Patients treated with migalastat over six months showed a more significant reduction in globotriaosylceramide (GL-3) in the blood vessels of the kidneys.

Patisiran

Patisiran generic Patisiran is prescribed to treat a rare and progressive polyneuropathy in patients with hereditary transthyretin-mediated (hATTR) amyloidosis which affects 50,000 people globally. Polyneuropathy is a disease that causes damage to the peripheral nerves resulting in burning pain, numbness, and weakness that affects the same areas on both sides of the body. Patisiran is a gene silencing drug and works by delivering small interfering RNAs (siRNA) to the liver and causing degradation of the mutant type transthyretin (TTR) protein. This leads to further reduction of this abnormal TTR protein deposits in tissues.

Fish Oil Triglycerides

Fish Oil Triglycerides generic Fish oil triglycerides are used for providing total parenteral nutrition delivering energy and fatty acids directly into the bloodstream in patients who cannot take food or other supplements by mouth for medical reasons. It is a mixture of highly refined fish oil containing omega-3 fatty acids such as eicosapentenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexenoic acid (DHA) with alpha-tocopherol, a form of vitamin E known for its antioxidant property. Fish oil triglycerides are used to provide parenteral nutrition in patients who suffer from Parenteral Nutrition Associated Cholestasis (PNAC).
