Alkaptonuria (Black Urine Disease)
Alkaptonuria or black urine disease is an inherited disorder where a chemical called homogentisic acid accumulates in the tissues and body fluids staining them dark brown. The spine and large joints (hip, knee) are affected leading to pain and stiffness.
Hemiplegia
Hemiplegia is a condition that is characterized by paralysis of one half of the body, usually due to a brain lesion on the opposite side. It may be congenital (cerebral palsy) or acquired later in life due to illness.
