Dr. Kaushik Bharati's Profile

Dr. Bharati is a Public Health Consultant based in New Delhi. He obtained his PhD in Physiology with specialization in Vaccinology from the University of Calcutta in 2001. He did his Post-doctoral Fellowship from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK, specializing in Immunology and Molecular view more..Biology. He was formerly a Scientist at the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi and a Senior Program Officer at the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, Faridabad, NCR Delhi. He was also a Visiting Professor in the Departments of Physiology and Microbiology at Vidyasagar University, Midnapore, West Bengal. His major research areas include Virology, Public Health and Health Policy. He has published over 40 papers in reputed national and international journals and has also co-authored a book entitled "Basic Concepts in Immunology". He has delivered numerous invited lectures at national and international conferences. He is currently on the Editorial Board of 7 journals from India and UK. He is a Member of the Indian Public Health Association and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (London).
