Heart disease
People who suffered a heart attack within the two weeks prior to travel or are victims of Angina Pectoris are advised to not undertake Air travel.
Traveler with heart disease should carry a recent ECG (Electrocardiogram) report. Person with implanted devise like Coronary stents, Pacemaker or Defibrillators must carry the doctor’s document with complete information of the implanted device. When a person with an implanted device passes through the electronic security device, an alarm may sounded, but this does not generally cause damage, although prolonged exposure to a security device should be avoided.
Most Airlines provide low sodium, low fat meals to those who request and book in advance.
