Staying Healthy

Staying healthy is not difficult - all you have to do is follow some common-sense rules. Some health tips to keep you hale and healthy while you are vacationing in the U.K.! • Prevent insect bites - use repellants, nets and wear clothes that cover your arms and legs; while out doors or camping, protect your hands and feet with gloves and boots.
• Exercise caution when eating and drinking –as stated earlier, avoid raw and unpasteurized products; always wash hands before handling food items; drink only bottled water and beverages that use boiled water.
• United Kingdom is known for its pubs. The atmosphere inside them is casual. Drink in moderation when visiting them.
• Protect yourself from injuries-use helmets or seat belts in automobiles; do not drink and drive; follow all traffic rules. (Remember like India, UK follows Right hand driving. International driving licence is valid for a year and can be obtained from the local Automobile Association).
