After going through your query I would suggest that first of all you should include plenty of fluids in your diet to rid you of constipation. Fluids in the form of fruit juices, milk shakes, ice cream shakes, badam shakes, mango shakes and the likes can be taken. Increase the number of meals; say 5 to 6 meals at short intervals. Apply spreads like jams, butter, cream, cheese spreads on your toast. Indulge in nutritious snacks like paneer potato cutlets, kebabas(hailing from lucknow it should not be a problem), cream sandwich, mayonnaise potato salad, hyderabadi biryani, fried rice etc.
A serving of non vegetarian dish twice a week should be helpful. Desserts like rice kheer, fruit custards, fruit cream, honey milk, badam pista kheer, shahi tukda, cakes, pastries will provide the calories as well as nutrition. Consume a cupful of nuts like almonds, cashewnuts, raisins, walnuts thrice a week. Fruits like mango, banana, plums, peaches, apricots should be consumed.
Avoid excess fried foods, as they aggravate the condition of constipation. Too much of tea, coffee, aerated drinks decrease the appetite and should be avoided. Outdoor exercise helps to stimulate appetite and increase food intake. Supplement your meals with the above foods and obtain healthy calories.
