Morning transfer to the airport to connect flight IC 973 for Cochin
Depart Chennai 0645 hrs
Arrive Cochin 0745 hrs
Meeting and assistance on arrival and straight transfer to Periyar.
On arrival check-in at hotel Taj Garden Retreat.
PERIYAR : A pleasant escape from the rigours of India travel, a nice place to cruise on the lake, and an opportunity to see some wildlife as well as enjoy a jungle walk as well seeing spice plantations – Periyar offers them all.

DAY 02 - 135KMS/3.5 HRS PERIYAR- KUMARAKOM
BY SURFACE
Morning boat-ride on lake Periyar to watch animals in their natural habitat. Later drive to Kumarakom. On arrival, check-in at the hotel Taj Garden Retreat.
Kumarakom is on the eastern shore of Vembanad Lake, which is a bird sanctuary.
Rest of the day at leisure exploring this exotic destination, which is famous not only for the resort where you will be staying but also for the charming little bird sanctuary, which plays host to a variety of migratory birds and to take the various Ayurvedic treatments in the hotel.
